A decade of helping families walk through doors too many kids never knew were open.
Synergy Prep began in 2015 in Sunnyside, Queens, born from a simple but stubborn question: why should a child’s future hinge on their zip code? In 2017 we carried that mission to the Bronx — the location that has since become the heart of our work.
A decade on, the answer is written in the names of the students who now walk the halls of New York City’s most competitive high schools, and in the families who trusted us to help them get there.

The people behind the mission.
 Fahim Rofique Co-Founder & CEO A Bronx native, Fahim has always been driven to close the education gap in his community. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Stuyvesant who went on to study at Oxford, he previously served on Bronx Community Board 9 as Acting VP of its Youth & Education Committee. |
 Fatin Nabil Co-Founder & COO A Summa Cum Laude graduate of NYIT, Fatin found his calling as a chemistry and biology TA. He has led Synergy Prep since its founding, personally guiding the parents of 100+ students through admissions every year. |
