JOB DESCRIPTION:

Synergy Prep is a New York based tutoring company that concentrates on providing test prep solutions for grades 1 to 12. We aim to Ensure that every student is prepared, whether it's for the NYS Common Core, SHSAT, Regents or SAT. Our classes are held in small, personal settings.

We are looking for talented individuals who have prior experience in private tutoring. For our Sunnyside location, our current positions include SHSAT Instructor, Common Core Instructor, Regents Instructor and SAT Instructor.

*WE ARE ALSO CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR INSTRUCTORS TO LEAD OUR SCHOOL CAMPUS PROGRAM FOR THE SPECIALIZED HIGH SCHOOL ADMISSIONS TEST. IF INTERESTED, PLEASE ONLY SELECT "SHSAT INSTRUCTOR."

Requirements:

Minimum 3.50 HS/College GPA
Minimum 1410 SAT (NEW)/ 2000 sat (old) Superscore OR 30 ACT Score
1-2 years prior experience in private tutoring preferred (training will be provided otherwise)
Graduates of Specialized High Schools, Townsend Harris, Hunter College HS, Bard Early College and Beacon preferred
